Tangible Nutrition Protocol (TNP)

The Tangible Nutrition Protocol  is our 6-month program of 1:1 nutrition coaching that takes you through the entire roadmap of tangible, actionable nutrition & behavior changes to lay down your foundational needs & support your workouts & performance. 

We give you the tools you need to be in charge of your own body & your nutrition. This is the comprehensive program most clients need to build a strong foundation for all stages and challenges of your active life.

We will meet for 25-minute sessions twice a month to work through your nutrition roadmap. Between sessions you’ll have access through private chat for those one-off questions that come up.

You’ll receive the coaching you need to feel fully confident & educated on your body’s needs to support fitness & performance goals. This protocol is for anyone who is ready to commit to the process & really make themselves a priority. 

This takes work. You must be ready to commit to the time & consistency it takes to create the life you love & feel your best in this process. Your dedication & work ethic will drive your outcomes.

We’ll work on supporting your body to improve your output and sports & fitness performance. You’ll learn how nutrition functions for your needs so you can master your own success.

Performance Protocol (PP)

The Performance Protocol is a completely customized coaching experience that supports you through your next endurance challenge (half marathon, marathon, triathlon, cycling event), strength event, match season, fight, or any other performance event.

With concrete micronutrient testing and targeted supplementation (if needed) included, this high-value protocol allows us to take the guess work out of your performance nutrition journey.

This program will be tailored to support your specific event needs, from training to competition day, to recovery.

We recommend enough time for a 12-week lead up to event day, followed by a 4-week recovery & replenishment period. As a result, the PNP is a 4-month program. (Adjustments to this can be discussed as needed for event dates.)

This protocol assumes that you have a solid nutritional foundation. If you want to improve your foundational intake in addition to supporting a specific event, the Tangible Nutrition Protocol is the right fit for you & can be tailored to include micronutrient testing & supplementation.

What does the investment look like?

The Tangible Nutrition Protocol is a 6-mo paid in full program, and the Performance Protocol is a 4-month paid in full program. Financing options are available. Expect to invest around $450-750 per month for coaching.

How long will we work together?

The exact time is ultimately up to you. We encourage a minimum of 6 months, because nutrition change and achievement of nutrition-related goals is a marathon, not a sprint. We want you to start this journey for the last time, so we are after longterm transformations. Our most successful clients are with us for 6 months, but some have chosen to stay for a year or more.

Do you do weight loss coaching?

We take a holistic approach to nourishing the body and supporting performance and output. You ask a lot of your body every day; our goal at YFD is to support it in that. While body composition change is often a part of the journey and we can certainly explore that, we don’t promote rapid weight loss or weight-only goals. We aim for sustainable goals to support your body, health, and performance.

Do you accept health insurance?

Payments are out of pocket. We do accept HSA/FSA payments; however, you will need to contact your insurance provider to make sure they will approve the charge.
